Which height fits your dog
Six heights, one rule: the rim should sit at your dog's elbow, so they eat without stooping. Measure the shoulder, not the nose.
Rim height ≈ 55% of shoulder height. The dashed line shows where the rim lands on each dog. Between two sizes, take the larger — slightly high beats too low.

How to measure your dog
Stand your dog square on a level floor and measure from the ground to the top of the shoulder blades — the withers, not the top of the head. That figure is the one the shoulder column refers to. If you only know the weight, treat it as a cross-check rather than the answer: two dogs of the same weight can be a size apart.
Between two sizes?
Take the larger one. A stand slightly too high still lets your dog eat with a level neck; one that is too low puts them back into the stoop the stand exists to prevent. If your dog is still growing, measure again at around a year — the ladder steps every 6 cm, so a puppy usually moves up exactly one size.
